Pi Imaging and ZEISS: Side-by-side innovation at FOM 2026

Innovation is the common DNA that brought Pi Imaging and ZEISS together in July 2025. Joined by vision and ownership, we operate as separate entities. By blending the short innovation cycles of Pi Imaging with the market-leading scale of ZEISS, we are creating a synergy that maximizes impact in the microscopy community, and beyond. This year, Pi Imaging will be present at Focus on Microscopy 2026 with a booth (number 69) side by side with Zeiss’ booth (number 70).

We will be showcasing our latest advancements in SPAD technology, including:

  • FLIM imaging: Featuring our 1-megapixel SPAD camera.
  • ISM/confocal microscopy for 647 nm dyes: Demonstrated with our optimized red SPAD array.
  • Spectral detection: Solutions based on linear SPAD arrays.

Don’t miss our technology highlight: We will be presenting our latest research, “SNR performance comparison between SPAD arrays, PMT and APD,” which completes our comprehensive technology comparisons alongside EMCCD and sCMOS cameras.
