Industrial applications benefit from good image quality. SPAD image sensors offer image quality limited only by fundamental principles of physics, i.e. shot (Poisson) noise of detected photons. This is achieved by direct photon to digital transformation, eliminating all analog noise sources present in traditional image sensors. By doing so, we eliminate the fundamental tradeoff between imaging speed (or frame rate) and low light capability, and thus allow a high speed sensor optimized for extreme low light performance.

This finally allows for reduction in the power budget of your high speed vision system.
